Brothers BlackbirdXPS15, and TerminatorXPS15 established Canuck Films,
initially none as XPS15 Films, august 12th 2008. The two were inspired
by Internet video producer Jon C.J. Graham (Also known as Digitalph33r
or JonCJG).
Although the initial works were horrendous by anyone’s standards, the
two persisted at trying to perfect the relatively new art-form of
machinima. They gained notoriety from achievement guides, and Halo 3
Machinima shorts.
However, both soon realized that the internet was serious business. An
unknown entity by the name of “Musician of Universal Asian Mixer DJ
Armz”, taking down the “Mohammad Pabel Miah” set of videos with false
copyright claims. However with insufficient information on the claims, a
counter claim was viewed as far too risky, thus Canuck Films was
established.
