Ok, this post is to address those of you who wish to be voice actors for our machinima, Ultimatum. So, for the sake of convenience here are a few guidelines, FAQs, and the like on how to send us a proper auditon.

General e-mail outline

Name/ Online Alias: (DO NOT USE YOUR REAL FULL NAME, First names are preferred.)

Vocal Range: (Low, mid, or high)

Lines To Read
These lines that are going to be in your audition. If there IS an exclamation mark, read the line out loud. If there are three, scream it.

Start by reading your e-mail out line first.

"Hey! Cover me, I'm reloading!"
"Cover me! I'm putting in another mag!"
"Corpsman! I'm hit!" Keep in mind that "Corpsman" is pronounced like "core-man".
"Careful! We've got "civvies" in the area!"
"Watch your fire! There are civilians here!"
"Rebel technical!"
"Rebels at our ten 'o clock position!"
"Grenade!!!"
"Holy shit! They killed Private Ryan!"
"Cover fire!!!"
"Ten-plus footmobiles!"
"Frag out!"

Preferred File Format

We prefer mp3s, WAVs or even WMAs. Others are acceptable, but we'd prefer the afforementioned formats.

Send It

Send all auditions to XPS15films@gmail.com. We'll review it in a few hours and let you know if you qualify. In that email, you will recieve your character(s) on the script, which will come as a .pdf file.

FAQ

Q.How old do you have to be?
A. There is no age requirement, but if you are under the age of 15 and are male, and your voice hasn't deepened yet, we really don't care. Just deepen your voice with audacity, to a believable point.

Q. Why is the Gender/ Nationality thing there?
A.1. The gender field is there, so we have some idea of who is sending the email. At no point will we discriminate against anybody, just because of their gender.

A.2. So we know where generally everyone is. The voice cast is already an international group, with actors from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Q. What if I have a (Put in name of accent) accent?
A.1. Don't worry about it. There is an unexplored part of Ultimatum, which includes international soldiers intervening in the North American civil conflict. So don't be afraid to use your accent.

Q. Can I use my full name?
A. We generally advise against this. If you can use an online alias of some sort. If your alias is your channel name, we'd be more than happy to link it in our video-description.

Q. How long can I take for one episode?
A. Generally the deadlines are about a month long, but extensions are allowed if we aren't making too much head-way on the actual filming.
